Helping The Community Move Better Each Day
Daily life can place ongoing stress on the body, whether it comes from long hours sitting at work, physical labour, sport, parenting, or repetitive movement. Muscle tension, joint stiffness, and reduced mobility can gradually affect comfort and overall movement quality over time.
At Tarneit Chiropractic & Sports, our focus is on personalised musculoskeletal care. For people seeking a supportive chiropractor clinic near Hoppers Crossing, care is designed around the individual and their specific movement, lifestyle, and physical health needs.
A Personalised Approach To Chiropractic Care
No two people experience pain or restriction in the same way. Some individuals may notice stiffness after long periods sitting at a desk, while others may experience discomfort linked to sporting activity, posture, or physical workload.
Working with an experienced chiro clinic near Hoppers Crossing allows treatment to be planned according to individual needs and examination findings. Management may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, movement advice, rehabilitation exercises, and postural support depending on the presentation.
Our focus is on providing practical and evidence-informed care that supports mobility, function, and overall musculoskeletal health.
Understanding Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors are registered healthcare practitioners who assess and manage a range of musculoskeletal presentations relating to movement, posture, joint function, and spinal health. Individuals can choose to consult a chiropractor directly without requiring a referral from another healthcare provider.
Chiropractic education in Australia involves university-level study covering areas such as anatomy, physiology, neurology, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal assessment. Registered chiropractors are also required to participate in ongoing professional development to maintain registration requirements and continue clinical learning.

Thorough Assessments Matter
Understanding how the body moves is an important part of delivering effective care. Initial consultations involve discussing symptoms, lifestyle factors, movement patterns, and relevant health history before management begins.
Many people looking for a reliable Hoppers Crossing chiro appreciate a clinic that takes time to explain findings clearly and provide realistic expectations around care. At Tarneit Chiropractic & Sports, patient education and open communication remain an important part of the process.
Supporting Active & Everyday Lifestyles
Maintaining mobility and physical function is important for people of all ages and activity levels. Whether someone enjoys regular exercise, works in a physically demanding role, or spends long hours seated during the day, movement-related stress can build gradually over time.
Our clinic provides care for office workers, tradespeople, students, parents, athletes, and older adults seeking support from a qualified Hoppers Crossing chiropractor. Management is always tailored to the individual rather than following a standardised treatment approach.

Dr Param Sethi
Dr Param grew up in Altona Meadows and Tarneit for most of his life. He graduated in 2015 from RMIT’s chiropractic program after completing both Bachelor’s and Master’s qualifications. Dr Param also completed further study in massage therapy while undertaking his chiropractic studies.
His passion and enthusiasm for chiropractic stem from his sporting background, having played basketball in Victoria’s BIGV league and being sponsored by a chiropractor during that time. Param has always had a passion for health and wellbeing, which led him towards the chiropractic profession and later practising as a chiropractor whom Hoppers Crossing patients visit for personalised musculoskeletal care.
Dr Param has worked alongside professional basketball, football, soccer, and cricket clubs across Melbourne and Gippsland, providing care for athletes within these sporting environments. These include Football Australia’s A-League, BIGV Basketball, West Gippsland Football League, and local cricket leagues around Melbourne.
Dr Phillip Chiem
Our senior Chiropractor, Dr Phillip Chiem, graduated with both his Bachelors in Health Science (Chiro) and his Masters of Clinical Chiropractic from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in 2015, and achieved an outstanding award for Clinical Excellence during his final year. Following his time in rural South Australia, Dr Chiem returned to Melbourne and continues to practise in the western suburbs, providing chiropractic care for individuals presenting with a range of musculoskeletal concerns.
Throughout his career, Dr Chiem has worked with individuals presenting with a broad range of musculoskeletal concerns. These have included low back pain, neck pain, postural concerns, headaches, dizziness, sciatica, and sports-related injuries. Dr Chiem has also completed additional professional development in Basic and Advanced Dry Needling and the Inspiral Course for Paediatric Care. He has a longstanding interest in health and wellbeing and values providing personalised care based on each individual’s presentation and goals.
Conditions
The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects our health and wellbeing. Chiropractic also focuses on extremity joints and muscle function.
